3 Simple Steps to Your First Customized Scavenger Hunt

At what age can a kid play a scavenger hunt game?

Scavenger hunts are fun for all ages, from toddlers to adults. Some might think that 2-3 years might be too young for this type of game. However, scavenger hunts are very easy to be customized. You can create a game that tailors your kids’ age. The idea is to understand your kid’s learning stage and build the game around it. For example, if your kid is 3 years old (like mine), he most likely knows colors and other simple objects. You can make a color scavenger hunt, or you can also create a version with everyday objects.

Why scavenger hunts are good for little kids?

Scavenger hunts promote learning through observation and exploration. It also helps reinforce the learned materials as well as encourage physical activities. Check out my blog post “9 Benefits of Scavenger Hunts for Little Kids” to learn more about the benefits of scavenger hunts for young kids.
